How to Process Documents at the United Arab Emirates Embassy or Consulate

The staff at Capital Authentication assists clients with the Authentication and Legalization of Canadian documents for use in the United Arab Emirates.  The authentication and legalization process is also known as Attestation or Apostille.  Our clients range from individuals seeking employment whereby they need to validate their Canadian Educational Documents.  We also routinely assist individuals with processing their Powers of Attorney, Police Criminal Records Checks, and other necessary documents.  From a corporate standpoint, we regularly assist corporations and lawyers with processing their required corporate documents.

As an expert in the Canadian document authentication and legalization field, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your unique situation.  During our discussion, we will review your material and ensure that it is accurate.  We will confirm that the documents meet Global Affairs Canada’s requirements and the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates. We will discuss whether the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Ottawa can legalize the documents or go to the Consulate in Toronto.  We will also provide you with an expected timeline from start to finish while supplying you with an itemized invoice.  Our approach remains unique within the industry, and we would welcome the opportunity to work with you.

Common Document Legalization Questions

Our expert staff would welcome the opportunity to assist you with the authentication and legalization of your documents.  We work with individuals, companies and law firms.   We routinely process personal, educational and corporate documents. We will advise you of the requirements and provide you with a realistic timeline to complete your documents.  At the same time, we will provide you with a fully itemized quote.

Our office regularly assists individuals with the legalization of their University Degree and other educational credentials.  The process is quite straightforward.  An individual can use either their original degree or a notarized copy of the degree.   Before the document can be submitted to either the Embassy or the Consulate, one must arrange for the educational institution to send directly to the Embassy or Consulate a certified copy of the transcripts.  Only after the transcript has been received can we arrange for the educational documents to be legalized.

For a free no obligation quote, reach out to our office.  We would be happy to discuss your matter, provide you with accurate information as well as a realistic timeline.

There are a number of factors that have an impact upon the overall cost of having documents legalized at the United Arab Emirates Embassy or Consulate.  For instance, the number of documents that you have, whether the documents are personal or corporate in nature, whether you have the required notarized translations, our fees and any courier costs.

It is recommended that you reach out to one of our helpful staff who specializes in the authentication and legalization process.  We would be more than happy to guide you through the requirements.  We would also be happy to provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expected fees.

The United Arab Emirates Embassy in Ottawa and the Consulate in Toronto are taking approximately six business days to complete the legalizations.  This does not take into consideration the courier time to and from the Embassy or Consulate. We would be happy to discuss your unique situation while providing you with an accurate timeline.

A joint language document that is in English or French and Arabic can be authenticated by Global Affairs Canada and legalized by the United Arab Emirates Embassy or Consular Office.  A Canadian document that is entirely in a foreign language can also be processed.  These types of documents can be a little tricky.  However, our office specializes in the authentication and legalization process.  We will clearly explain the requirements in order to have your document completed correctly the first time.

There are many instances when it is more convenient for a client to have documents sent directly to our office as opposed to their receiving them first.  For example, government issued documents such as birth certificates can be sent directly to us.  We can receive them and start compiling a client dossier with the authentication and legalization component to commence once we have all of the documents.
