The “Completion Time” Method

The completion time method is a system that we devised and is employed when determining the possible fees to charge each individual customer.  This method differs from the practice that is suggested by other local authentication and legalization service providers.  As a knowledgeable authentication and legalization service provider, also referred to as the Canadian Apostille Process, our office takes a very unique approach when processing documents at Global Affairs Canada and the various diplomatic missions and we feel that it is more client centered.

The “completion time” method takes into account an individuals unique timeline to have their documents processed.   Our method also requires us to be up to date with the processing times at the various diplomatic missions.  Like Global Affairs Canada, each diplomatic mission has unique processing requirements that must be met before the documents can be processed.  The diplomatic missions also vary with the time that they might take to complete the legalization of documents.  For example, some diplomatic missions will complete the legalization on the spot.  On the other hand, some diplomatic missions take anywhere from one to ten days to complete their processing. Differing still, the odd diplomatic mission will require an appointment to simply submit the documents and that does not take into account the length of time they will take to legalize the document.  Because of these variances, we feel that it is more client centered to offer a “completion time” method.

Although we offer four different processing options, we present our clients with the possible processing options available to them once all of the necessary variables are taken into consideration.  Our belief is that if the documents are urgent and swift processing is available then our client can utilize this option.  On the other hand, if our customer has a reasonable timeline to work with, we wonder why that person should have to pay a high dollar for the services to be rendered. Our staff will always help our customers to select the right service package to meet the needs of their unique situation.  It is our view that the “completion time” method results in our customer typically not taking our most expensive service packages.
